Susan Gamble of Santa Theresa Tileworks uses No Days Mosaic Adhesive and Groutless on wedi quite often. She’s based in Tucson, AZ…hot, hot, hot summer weather. Her outdoor installations are holding up. (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150934828921897.442909.101171496896&type=1&l=50b51e2bb5)
There are step by step photos of one of her installations on wedi in this album. She uses ceramic tiles which can warp sometimes (instead of lying flat like glass), so she’ll use groutless mosaic adhesive or layer the No Days Mosaic Adhesive film to build up adhesive under the tiles.
Lizz Van Saun of Kast Hill Mosaics uses the Mosaic Film and Groutless for glass on glass mosaic workshops. (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150684338296897.420302.101171496896&type=1&l=3460cff446)
These are some that she has made: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.457186034319036.92147.106781956026114&type=3
Here’s an album of a workshop she offers in 3 hours, create a finished mosaic: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.409273489110291.80980.106781956026114&type=3 (using No Days Mosaic Adhesive)
Here are a couple of artist residencies that I’ve done in schools with the No Days Mosaic Adhesive:
Here’s another glass on glass mosaic sample I created using the Groutless and grout to finish (without mixing grout):
I’ve used the No Days Mosaic Adhesive on stepping stones: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151022730481897.453233.101171496896&type=1&l=5238fe83ba
My stepping stones live outside in Nebraska…lots of cold, icy temperatures in the winter and hot, balmy summers. They’re doing just great after 3 years.
